Mitchell A. Hardenbrook, M.D. is the founder and director of the Advanced Spine Institute of Greater Boston. The Advanced Spine Institute of Greater Boston leverages the latest research and technology to offer leading-edge orthopedic spine care.

Dr. Hardenbrook is a board-certified spine surgeon. He specializes in muscle-sparing approaches to the cervical and lumbar spine, motion preservation, minimally invasive surgery, and use of robotics in spine surgery.

A frequently-requested speaker on innovation in spine surgery, Dr. Hardenbrook created the Advanced Spine Institute to bring the most advanced techniques to bear on treating spinal disorders and injuries.

Dr. Hardenbrook completed his MD at Hahnemann University School of Medicine (1997) and served in the United States Navy, ascending to the rank of lieutenant commander. He completed his residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center Shock Trauma Center in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, and his fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital under the Tufts University-UMass Medical Center Affiliates.
